General Description

Our summer program aims to provide elementary, middle, and high school students a welcoming environment for both work and play.

Course offerings include:

  • Chinese reading, writing, speaking, and listening instruction for students aged 4 through high school

  • English, math, writing enrichment and State Test prep classes from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 6

  • Test prep classes for G7-8 SHSAT, G9+ PSAT, and G10+ SAT

  • Special Interest courses - drawing, watercolor, keyboard, ping pong, science projects, gong fu martial arts, and board games

Our program runs from June 30 to August 15, 2025 (7 weeks), 9am to 5pm on weekdays. We provide the following:

  • Spacious, bright, air-conditioned classrooms

  • School bus transportation for most of the Queens area

  • Accommodations for early arrival (8:00am) and late pickup (6:00pm) upon request

  • Free lunch from the NYC Summer Food Program

  • School field trips for exciting outdoor fun

ELA/Math Enrichment (Afternoon)

  • Pre-Kindergarten / Kindergarten

  • Grades 1 - 6 English and Math, State Test practice

  • Grade 7 Pre-SHSAT and Grade 8 SHSAT

  • Grade 9+ PSAT

  • Grade 10+ SAT

Mandarin Chinese (Morning)

  • Early Mandarin [Ages 4-5]

  • Conversational [for non-native speakers]

  • Mandarin Phonetics (Pinyin) [Ages 6+]

  • Elementary Mandarin [Book 1 to Book 6]

  • Advanced Mandarin Reading (Yuedu) [Book 7+]

Special Interests (Morning and Afternoon)

  • Science Projects (fun, hands-on learning)

  • Gong Fu Martial Arts

  • Ping Pong

  • Chess & Board Games

  • Youth Drawing

  • Sketching

  • Singing

  • Keyboard Piano

Daily Schedule

8:00am : Early arrival begins
9:00-9:50am : Morning period 1
10:00-10:50am : Morning period 2
11:00-11:50am : Morning period 3

11:50-12:50pm : Lunch and classroom activities
12:50-1:00pm : Half-day dismissal

1:00-2:50pm : Afternoon period 1
3:00-4:50pm : Afternoon period 2

4:50-5:00pm : Full-day dismissal
5:00-6:00pm : Extended pickup

Please note: Pre-K and K classes have a nap period after lunch.
